Eckerle began its journey in series production in Germany in 1968. Over the years, the company has expanded internationally, both in terms of geography and its range of activities. The ongoing maintenance needs of machines used for series production led to the establishment of a new division at the end of the 1980s. Since then, Eckerle has had engineering teams around the world dedicated to achieving perfection in automation projects. For over three decades, the Eckerle name has been synonymous with tailored engineering services and products, ranging from large-scale production to custom machines, simple parts, and commercial products. The Eckerle Group includes companies named Eckerle Automotive and Eckerle Industrie. Since 2020, Eckerle has been part of the Prettl Group.
Eckerle Automotive
Eckerle Automotive specializes in the large-scale production of brush holders, brush cards, hybrids, complex plastic injection-molded parts, and the integration of electronic components. Our products find wide application across various industries. At Eckerle, we manufacture over 160 million parts used in the automotive industry and small motors. We take pride in the fact that every second vehicle on the road contains at least one part made in one of our factories.
Eckerle Industrie
Eckerle Industrie focuses on CNC machining, developing and manufacturing automated production lines, and realizing simpler constructions that support production processes. Some entities also market commercial products. We are proud to have designed all the automated production lines used by our automotive division to produce more than 160 million products annually. Furthermore, we have constructed and built numerous production lines that have helped thousands of satisfied customers run their businesses successfully.
