A hybrid component in plastics is a composite part made from at least two different materials—usually a thermoplastic polymer and a metallic or fiber-reinforced carrier material—and processed into a functional unit. Eckerle has been manufacturing switch and contact units as well as complex hybrid components for over 25 years. These are used in electric power steering systems for passenger cars and trucks, as well as in drives for power tools.

A special feature: We do not only develop and produce the products themselves but also the automated and semi-automated production lines needed for them, all in-house.
