The Press as a Central Element

Custom Press-Based Systems

The Eckerle project team develops solutions tailored to our customers' specific needs, providing services ranging from concept development and design to full implementation. Our assortment of custom press-based machines includes everything from semi-automated workstations to fully automated assembly lines supplemented with presses.

For these individual systems, we offer a flexible selection of presses alongside high-end control and safety technology, all aimed at enhancing production efficiency. Our innovative assembly processes ensure minimal scrap rates and reliable separation of faulty parts, which are crucial for maintaining high production reliability.

All SCHMIDT® press types can be integrated into rotary indexing or linear transfer systems. The configurations of these machines vary according to specific requirements.

Applications can be equipped with the following hybrid assembly cells:

Pneumatic press with force-distance monitoring
Servo press with force-distance monitoring
Conventional hydro-pneumatic press

The entire press system, including rotary indexing units and pneumatic components, is controlled by the SCHMIDT® PressControl 7000 RT.

This unit also collects process data from the force-distance monitored systems, which can be stored in a database using the SCHMIDT® DataBase software.
